All You Need Is Love

I love that the artist has chosen to draw a character that is truly underrated, when it comes to exploration and even the appreciation of her character design. The artist's own original style has come through in the drawing, and the depiction of the character as a cross between a cartoonish pony versus a more realistic look at her muzzle, ears and neck really stands out. It gives the drawing a very intense gaze.

The eyes and horn of the character are my favourite part of the artwork. The eyes' stare let you imminently understand and sympathise when the character's distress, as well as relate to her emotions of disappointment, even thought she is an antagonist in the series - the softness of her eyes is surprising and very well drawn. The horn has been drawn very precisely, and the shape is very well executed, and I believe it is this aspect of the character's body that gives the drawing as a whole it's visual balance.

The shading and colouring is very gentle yet, gives the character a great sense of perspective, as though she is standing and facing the viewer creating an intimate visual effect.
